Guangyu Nie's website

Guangyu Nie (聂光宇) is Associate Dean and Professor of College of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE). He earned his PhD in Economics from Georgetown University in 2015 and joined SUFE afterwards. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Nankai University, and a master's degree in Finance from Tsinghua University.

His fields of specialty include macroeconomics, international finance and computational methods. His recent work focuses on financial frictions, financial openness and capital flows, and the interaction of demographic patterns and macroeconomics. He has published in leading economic journals including American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Journal of Development Economics, Review of Economic Dynamics, Economic Research Journal (in Chinese, 《经济研究》), and Economics Quarterly (in Chinese, 《经济学》（季刊）).
